We are proud to announce that the National League for Culture and Development (NLCD) took part in the official kick-off meeting of the YOUTHMED Project, held on 1–2 October 2025 in Seville, Spain 🇪🇸.
Funded by the European Union under the Interreg NEXT MED Programme, YOUTHMED aims to empower youth and foster inclusion, innovation, and cross-border cooperation across the Mediterranean.
As one of the key partners, NLCD – Lebanon will contribute to developing youth capacities, digital engagement tools, and community initiatives that connect young people and organizations from Lebanon, Spain, Greece, and Egypt.
The meeting gathered all project partners, led by the Planning and Development Agency (PDA), alongside representatives from the Interreg NEXT MED Joint Secretariat and other stakeholders who provided valuable guidance on project implementation and communication strategies.
YOUTHMED will empower over 500 young people and strengthen 25 youth organizations, paving the way for a more inclusive and connected Mediterranean region.
