The National League for Culture and Development (NLCD), partner of the YOUTHMED Project under the Interreg NEXT MED Programme, is seeking to contract three youth organizations in Lebanon to support the implementation of key local activities.

Project Duration:Β 30 months (June 2025 – December 2027)

YOUTHMED aims to strengthen youth participation, cooperation, and civic responsibility across the Mediterranean through inclusive dialogue, cross-border exchange, and digital innovation β€” enabling youth and youth organizations to co-create solutions and actively shape resilient societies.

Key Benefits and Impact:

  • 510 youth trained in civic engagement, media literacy, and digital participation
  • 25 youth organizations cooperating across borders
  • 1 multilingual AI-powered platform (SmartMaria) to enable youth collaboration
  • 4 transnational events with political and cultural leaders
  • 1 shared digital knowledge space
  • Policy-relevant data and networks to inform inclusive youth strategies

Target Groups:Β Youth aged 18–30, youth organizations, civic actors, and public institutions in Lebanon, Egypt, Greece, and Spain.

πŸ“˜ Assignment Scope

  • Selected organizations will support or implement activities including:

    1. Direct Implementation
      β€’ Local training on civic participation
      β€’ Awareness events on gender-based discrimination
      β€’ Identification and support of vulnerable youth
    2. Youth Mobilization
      β€’ Engage youth in videos, mentoring, and co-designed actions
    3. Cross-Border Participation
      β€’ Nominate youth for international visits and exchanges
    4. Community Engagement
      β€’ Involve political and cultural leaders in public events

    βœ… Eligibility & Selection Criteria

    Applicants must:

    • Be legally registered in Lebanon
    • Have relevant youth engagement experience
    • Operate in local/regional contexts
    • Demonstrate capacity to mobilize youth
    • Follow Interreg NEXT MED communication rules

    Priority to:

    • Organizations from rural or underserved regions
    • The selected Organizations representing diverse communities

    Each selected organization will:

    • Implement assigned activities over 30 months
    • Mobilize youth and engage stakeholders
    • Submit reports, attendance sheets, and media outputs

    πŸ“Œ Contract Terms

    • Type: Service Contract
    • Duration: Until December 2027 (activation-based)
    • Budget: €15,000 per organization
    • Supervision: NLCD YOUTHMED Team
